Step 1: Spread the all-purpose flour out onto a cookie sheet. Then, bake it in the oven to kill off any potential bacteria that may be lurking in it.

Step 2: Cream the unsalted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl using a hand or stand mixer. Cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
