It’s the time of year when lots of people are reaching for sometimes pretty drastic “health” and weight-loss oriented goals. Which so often mean diets, “cleanses” and “detoxing”. Blech.
No, thank you!
If I’m feeling like I need a bit of a nutritional reset, I reach for my beloved, dependable and healthy plan of action: doing a Whole30.
So what’s a Whole 30?
It’s 30 days of eating real, unprocessed and nutritionally dense food. Which means avoidingall grains, added sugars, soy, dairy, beans, legumes or treats. If you want to understand the “why”s and “how”s of avoiding those things, you should really read the book that the Whole30 plan is based on, It Starts With Food. It’s a New York Times Bestsellerfor a reason! Or head on over to my introductory post, “Your First Whole30” over here to read more!
If this is your first Whole30, I bet you could use some inspiration when it comes to tasty, Whole 30 compliant meals. That’s where this post comes in! I’ve gathered together 30 days of simple & delicious dinners right here, so you’ll never be without ideas or inspiration during your first (or fifth) Whole30. Hurrah! Keep checking back here throughout the week and you’ll find even more Whole 30 recipe roundups for breakfasts, lunches, snacks and more!

Anytime! Working on lunches and snacks now 🙂

Suhweet! Can’t wait for the snacks – they’ll be helpful ’cause my husband is brown bagging it and doesn’t have a means of heating anything up except a solar source, maybe, but that wouldn’t be practical in his situation either. This is really helpful.

I can’t see the dinner suggestions. Any way to get them back? I loved the breakfast and lunch ideas!

It’s a slow loading page because of all the images, but they should show up after a while. The page is loading for me – maybe try refreshing your browser?

Hi I’m starting Whole30 on May 1st and was very excited to come across your website a few days ago. However, I came back today to make my grocery list and for some reason the 30 days of Whole30 lunches page isn’t coming up. It just says “Trackbacks” at the top. I clicked on it several times with the same result. I’d love to be able to use it for lunch ideas so I hope you can help me figure it out. 🙂

I’m sorry, Whitney, it’s some kind of bug with the plugin on the page. I am looking for a way to replace it but if for now you clear your browser image cache, that seems to fix it temporarily. Sorry for the inconvenience 🙁

Thanks for your quick response! It seems to be working fine today. Thank you so much for putting this together! I saw a couple of recipes that have almond butter, sesame oil, and apple cider vinegar in them. Are all those things compliant? This is my first Whole30 and I haven’t finished the book so I’m still trying to figure everything out and I’m a little confused about what’s allowed. 🙂

Yay for it working! Those are all fine on the Whole30, as long as you’re not using the almond butter to make a dessert with paleo ingredients 🙂
