The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) offers Medi-Cal health insurance, CalFresh food assistance, CalWORKs cash assistance for families, and General Relief cash assistance for individuals.

Benefits of Using the DPSS Mobile App
The LA County DPSS Mobile app allows users to:
- View your EBT balance
- View your case status and benefit information
- Search nearest available Free ATMs, Paid ATMs, and CalFresh stores
- Take a picture or upload photos from your mobile device for submitting your verification documents to your cases
- Take a picture or upload photos from your mobile device for submitting your proof of the changes reported on your Semi-Annual Report (SAR-7) or Quarterly Report (QR-7).
- View verification uploaded history.

DPSS Mobile App Login
Here’s how to login to your LA County DPPS Mobile App for both iPhone and Andriod:

When you open your app on your phone, you will be taken to a screen that looks like the one below:
Once there, click on the “LOGIN TO YOUR CASE” as shown below.
Next, you will be taken to a screen that looks like the one below.
Here, you will be provided 3 options to login to your DPSS account:
First Option – DPSS Case Number or Your EBT Card Number
Second Option – Customer ID
Third Option – YourBenefitsNow Account Username.
We have explained below how to log in to your DPSS account with each of the three options below.
First Option – Login with Your DPSS Case Number or Your EBT Card Number
To log in with your DPSS case number or your California EBT card, click on the appropriate box as shown above.
Next, you will be taken to a page like the one below.
Provide the requested information and click the “LOGIN” button at the bottom to view your account.
Second Option – Login with Your Customer ID
To log in with your customer ID, click on the appropriate box as shown above.
Next, you will be taken to a page like the one below.
Enter your Customer ID and 6 digit PIN in the space provided and click the “LOGIN” button at the bottom to view your account.
If you forgot your PIN, click on the “Forgot your PIN? Click here to reset your PIN” for instructions on how to reset your PIN.
Third Option – Login with YourBenefitsNow Account Username
To log in with your YourBenefitsNow Account Username, click on the appropriate box as shown above.
Next, you will be taken to a page like the one below.
Provide YourBenefitsNow (YBN) Username and Password and click the “LOGIN” button at the bottom to view your account.
