His show led Spotify’s global rankings for the sixth straight year in 2025, and it also topped Apple’s and YouTube’s lists, marking a rare all-platform supremacy. The figurehead behind The Joe Rogan Experience remains a force across the podcasting world, buoyed by standout episodes this year, including interviews with Elon Musk, Mel Gibson, and Bernie Sanders.
The Mel Robbins Podcast has climbed into a solid third place on both global and U.S. charts, trailing only The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett. That same top-three placement mirrored Apple’s year-end rankings.
Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy—after switching from Spotify to SiriusXM in 2024—fell from the previous year’s second spot to fourth on Spotify’s global chart.
Rounding out the global top ten are familiar contenders such as Theo Von, Andrew Huberman, and Ashley Flowers’s Crime Junkie. Amy Poehler’s Good Hang also made its debut on the U.S. podcast list.
On the audiobook front, this year marks Spotify’s continued exploration of the format. Since its big 2023 expansion into premium audiobooks, Spotify has started offering a Wrapped-style, personalized snapshot of users’ top audiobooks. Globally and in the U.S., the romance-tinged “romantasy” category dominated the charts, with Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing topping both lists and Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series appearing multiple times.
